Overview
Christopher Anthony Property Services is seeking ambitious self-employed Sales & Lettings Agents to develop and grow our presence within their local territory. The successful individual will operate as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants within their area, building a local personal brand whilst benefiting from the systems, marketing, compliance support and operational infrastructure provided by Christopher Anthony Property Services. This role is suited to motivated property professionals who wish to build their own client base, develop recurring referral business and take responsibility for the full customer journey from instruction through to completion.


Territories Available
We are currently seeking agents to develop and manage business within the following areas:
  • Basingstoke 
  • Reading 
  • Bracknell 
  • Fleet 
  • Hook 
  • Crowthorne
And local Hampshire / Berkshire areas.
 


Key Responsibilities
Business Development
  • Generate new sales and lettings instructions within the local territory. 
  • Develop relationships with homeowners, landlords, investors and local businesses.
  • Build a personal referral network through community engagement and networking. 
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share within the designated area. 
Property Sales
  • Conduct property valuations and market appraisals. 
  • Advise clients on pricing and marketing strategies. 
  • Prepare and present marketing recommendations. 
  • Negotiate offers between buyers and sellers. 
  • Manage agreed sales through to exchange and completion. 
Lettings
  • Conduct rental valuations. 
  • Win and manage landlord instructions. 
  • Advise landlords regarding rental legislation and market conditions. 
  • Negotiate tenancy agreements. 
  • Assist with progression of new tenancies and renewals. 
Client Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the transaction process.
  • Provide regular updates and professional advice. 
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery. 
  • Generate repeat business and client referrals. 
Marketing
  • Promote properties through digital marketing channels. 
  • Create and maintain a strong social media presence within the local market. 
  • Develop local brand awareness. 
  • Support company marketing campaigns and initiatives. 
Compliance
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures. 
  • Maintain accurate records of instructions and transactions. 
  • Assist with anti-money laundering requirements and customer due diligence procedures.
  • Conduct business in accordance with relevant property legislation and industry standards.


Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Experience within estate agency, lettings, property sales or a customer-facing sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. 
  • Strong negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload. 
  • Good knowledge of the local property market. 
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. 
Desirable
  • Previous experience conducting property valuations. 
  • Experience winning instructions. 
  • Existing local network of contacts. 
  • Propertymark, ARLA, NAEA or equivalent industry qualifications.
